Privacy policy

Effective November 2026

Albus Block Puzzle is a game made by İbrahim Şahin. This policy explains what the game does with your information. In short: your game stays on your device. What leaves it is statistics and crash reports tied only to a random ID, which help us improve the game, what Google needs to show ads, and what is needed to process a purchase.

The short version

  • The game asks for no personal data (no name, no e-mail), and there is no account.
  • Your save lives on your device and in your device’s own backup.
  • To improve the game, it sends usage statistics and crash reports to Google Firebase, tied to a random ID rather than to your name. They are never used for ads, and you can turn them off in the game’s Settings.
  • The game shows ads, served by Google AdMob, which receives device data to show them.
  • Before an ad may use your device’s advertising identifier, the game asks your permission (Apple’s tracking question). Where the law requires it, Google’s form also asks for your consent.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple or Google Play; we never receive your payment details.
  • Levels work offline. Ads and purchases need a connection.

What we collect

The game doesn’t ask for your name, e-mail address, contacts, photos or any other personal information, and there is no account to create. What leaves your device: usage statistics and crash reports (see “Usage statistics and crash reports”), the data Google needs for ads (see “Ads”) and the data needed for purchases (see “Purchases”).

Your game save

Your progress is stored on your device, inside the app’s own storage. Like other app data, it is included in your device’s backups (iCloud or your computer), which you control. The save is never sent to us, and deleting the app deletes it.

Usage statistics and crash reports

To learn how the game is played and to fix what goes wrong, the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google. They receive what happens in the game (for example levels started, finished or left, how long they took, cushions placed, hints used, the screens opened, the buttons tapped, cats and rooms unlocked, coins earned and spent, purchases made and ads watched), how often and how long you play, your device’s model, operating system, language and the game’s version, an approximate location derived from your IP address (country or region, never a precise location), a random identifier for this installation of the game, and, when the game crashes or hits an error, technical details about it.

This data is not linked to your name or any account, it is never used for advertising, and your device’s advertising identifier is not used for it. Google processes it on our behalf (firebase.google.com/terms/data-processing-terms). Usage statistics are kept for up to 14 months, crash reports for up to 90 days. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the game working and improving it.

You can turn usage statistics and crash reports off at any time in the game: Settings › Privacy › No thanks. Nothing more is sent from then on.

Ads

The game shows two kinds of ads: short rewarded videos that you choose to watch for a bonus, and full-screen ads between levels, which start after level 12 and which the No Ads purchase removes. No ad appears in the middle of a level.

The ads are served by Google AdMob. To choose and show an ad, measure it and prevent fraud, Google’s software in the game collects data such as your IP address, device information, and, if you allow it, your device’s advertising identifier.

On an iPhone or iPad, Google may use your device’s advertising identifier to show you more relevant ads only if you allow it when Apple’s tracking question appears. You can change this at any time in your device’s settings. The game works the same whichever you choose.

Where the law requires consent (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google’s consent form asks for it before ads are requested. You can change your choice in the game: Settings › Privacy › Manage ad privacy.

Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. How Google uses data from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Purchases

Optional purchases are sold through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The store processes the payment; we never receive your name or payment details.

The game uses RevenueCat to confirm purchases and restore them. RevenueCat receives a random identifier, your purchase history in this game and your device’s store receipt. Its privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

The stores’ own privacy policies apply to purchases: apple.com/legal/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what data exists about your installation, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and quote your install ID, which you’ll find in the game under Settings › Privacy. We don’t know who you are, so that ID is the only way to find your data. Deleting the app deletes your save from your device.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to correct or restrict the use of your data, to object to it, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The game is made for a general audience and isn’t directed at children. Its ads are limited to content rated up to parental guidance.
